Be Water #4, Zi Ran Er Ran, is a journal whose editorial is shaped around a series of interviews conducted by editor Ai Mi and fellow contributors. The fourth number, a new iteration on the theme 自然而然 (Chinese idiom directly translating into “naturally”), discusses the issue of nature at large and how each of the interviewees deals with environmental questions and the crisis that is ahead of us, or how they interact with the surrounding nature either within their work or their lives. The participants were selected over a wide spectrum of occupations, from artists to environmentalists.
